EP Architects were approached by a returning client, looking to create a two-storey rear extension, with open plan living space on the ground floor of this mid 20th century property.

Previously the kitchen had a small attached dining area which the clients wished to make more use of. The first floor housed only a single bathroom with a separate toilet and the 4th bedroom only had limited views over the side access.

The project has delivered the clients brief for an open-plan living space with large bi-fold doors, linking the space to the garden.

On the first floor, by relocating the family bathroom to the centre of the house, EP Architects have created a large en-suite double bedroom with vaulted ceilings and garden views. A second en-suite bathroom and dressing room were also created off the main bedroom.
