A modern addition to a historic property
An extensive transformation has taken place in the rear garden of this stunning Grade II Listed property, nestled in historic West Malling.
The client approached EPA wanting a new pool in the rear of their property.
Due to the property being listed and located within a conservation area, EP Architects advised the client that planning approval would be required, which is not normally necessary for open air swimming pools.
The one-piece pool was supplied and fitted, by Compass Pools UK.
Installation of the pool was an operation that involved 2 cranes to manoeuvre the pool down the side access of the house. One crane was located at the front of the property and passed the pool to the second crane in the garden which then positioned the pool on site.
The one-piece pool perfectly compliments the clients modern garden design, completed by MD Building Services Ltd. The final result is a beautiful, heated pool that is usable all year round.
