Bringing natural light into the home
EP Architects were approached by a new client to design an extension to a bungalow. The client’s main focus was to include a large ridge window and plenty of glazing to make the most of their garden views.
Connecting the living space with the garden was another request from the client and the triple sliding doors achieve this seamlessly. With beautiful glazed internal doors by Toucan Glass in Ashford, which ensure natural light flows through the house.
The client also wished to reformat the kitchen/dining arrangement as the layout housed the dining area within a corner of the kitchen. Rearranging this layout would create space for a separate dining room and open up the kitchen to a more functional space.
