EP Architects were appointed to produce a design to convert an Atcost concrete framed agricultural building into a new home. The brief was to provide a level access home with large bi-folding doors to allow the occupants to enjoy the fantastic countryside views.

EP Architects have gained planning approval for a spacious three-bedroom home with en-suited bedrooms; a large formal lounge and kitchen diner with access to a separate snug, all benefiting from views over the Kent countryside. A new entrance drive was also required as part of the project which required full planning consent.

The barn was converted under a Class Q permitted development application for the change of use of an agricultural barn to a dwelling.

Review

We used EP Architects for a barn conversion project and found them to be innovative in their design, very professional and easy to work with. They were always available to offer advice and assistance and they were able to recommend an excellent firm to complete the build for us. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
